Atelopus minutulus Ruiz-Carranza, Hernández-Camacho, and Ardila-Robayo, 1988, Trianea, 1: 58. Holotype: ICN 13709, by original designation. Type locality: "Km. 13-15 carretera Guayabetal-Manzanares, Vereda Portachuelo, Municipio de Acacías, Departamento del Meta, vertiente oriental de la Cordillera Oriental, Colombia; altura 1560 m.s.n.m." Type locality corrected to "Meta, Acacías, Vereda Portachuelo, Quebrada Aguapanela, 12 Km. to Manzanares from the road that starts in the periphery of Guayabetal, 1375 m" by Ramírez, 2026, Rev. Latinoam. Herpetol., 9: 228–229). 

Common Names

Colombian Stubfoot Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 39).

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Municipio de Acacías) and Manzanares, Meta, in humid montane forest on the eastern versant of the Cordillera Oriental and in adjacent Cundinamarca, Colombia, ca. 1560 m elevation.
