Atelopus peruensis Gray and Cannatella, 1985, Copeia, 1985: 912. Holotype: KU 181540, by original designation. Type locality: "33 km SW Celendín (7° 00′ S, 78° 10′ W), Departamento Cajamarca, Peru".

Distribution

Puna and subpuna in the northern Andes of Peru (Departments of Ancash, Cajamarca, and Piura), 2800–4000 m elevation.
