Torrentophryne mengliana Yang, 2008, in Yang and Rao (ed.), Amph. Rept. Yunnan: 58. Holotype: KIZ 75I214, by original designation. Type locality: Nafu, Menglian, Yunnan, China, 1620 m elevation.
Bufo menglianus — Frost, 2009, Amph. Spec. World, vers. 5.3. Change made to reflect the prior synonymy of Torrentophryne with Bufo.
Bufo (Bufo) menglianus — Dubois and Bour, 2010, Zootaxa, 2447: 24.
Common Names
Menglian Stream Toad (Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 274).
Distribution
Known definitely only from Menglian and surrounding villages, southwestern Yunnan, China, 1650 m elevation.
