Poyntonophrynus grindleyi (Poynton, 1963)
Bufo vertebralis grindleyi Poynton, 1963, Ann. Natal Mus., 15: 320. Types: NMZB (formerly UM) 5369, by original designation. Type locality: "floor of the Bundi Valley, Chimanimani Mountains (at 5,300 ft., 1,560 m.), Southern Rhodesia [= Zimbabwe]".

Common Names
Grindley's Pygmy Toad (Bufo fenoulheti grindleyi: Lambiris, 1990 "1989", Monogr. Mus. Reg. Sci. Nat. Torino, 10: 62).
Distribution
Known from the Chimanimani Mountains, of Mozambique and Zimbabwe (1560 m elevation and above).
Geographic Occurrence
Natural Resident: Mozambique, Zimbabwe
