Comment

Considered a synonym of Bufo funereus by Laurent, 1964, Publ. Cult. Companhia Diamantes Angola, 67: 131, but retained as a distinct species by Tandy and Keith, 1972, in Blair (ed.), Evol. Genus Bufo.
