Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Cundinamarca, about 8 km south of the Municipio de Supatá, Vereda San Marcos (ca 5°3’N, 74°14’W, 1890–2000 m elevation)". Distribution

In a few small forest fragments at the type locality (8 km south of the Municipio de Supatá, Vereda San Marcos), and near the municipality of San Francisco (Cundinamarca, Colombia).
