Comment
Removed from the synonymy of Hyla pseudopseudis by Pombal and Caramaschi, 1995, Bol. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, N.S., Zool., 363: 1, where it had been placed by Lutz, 1973, Brazil. Spec. Hyla: 24. In the Bokermannohyla pseudopseudis group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 83-84. Eterovick and Sazima, 2004, Anf. Nascimento, Chaves, Leite, Eterovick, and Santos, 2018, PLoS One, 13 (11: e0206732): 1–19, reported on molecular phylogeography noting four deeply divergent mtDNA clades that, if corroborated by nuDNA, calls, and morphology might be distinct species. Eterovick, Souza, and Sazima, 2020, Anf. Serra do Cipó: 1–292, provided an account, life history information, and an identification scheme for the Serra de Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Pezzuti, Leite, Rossa-Feres, and Garcia, 2021, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 22 (Special Issue): 1–109, described and discussed larval morphology and natural history.
