Michigan, 166: 42). Type locality: "d'Estrella [= Estrela], entre Rio de Janeiro et Petropolis", Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Lowlands of Paraná through São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, adjacent eastern Minas Gerais, and southwestern Bahia, Brazil.
