Distributed throughout the Brazilian Cerrado in the Distrito Federal, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo, as well as east-central Paraguay in the provinces of Amambay, Canindeyú, and San Pedro.
