Hyla albicans Bokermann, 1967, Neotropica, 13: 64. Holotype: WCAB 19519, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "próxima a los 1000 m de altura en el Parque Nacional da Serra dos Orgãos, río Beija Flor, Terezopolis, estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil".
