Paranaiba River basin in the municipalities of Campo Alegre de Goiás, Orizona, Ipameri, Cumari, and Silvânia in the state of Goiás, the muncipality of Araguari, Minas Gerais, as well as the muncipality of Brasilia in the Distrito Federal, Brazil.

Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 80–81, provided an account. Bang, Pie, and Giaretta, 2021, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 61 (e20216177): 1–6, reported on localities in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and discussed vocalization.
