Paranaiba River basin in the municipalities of Campo Alegre de Goiás, Orizona, Ipameri, Cumari, and Silvânia in the state of Goiás, the muncipality of Araguari, Minas Gerais, as well as the muncipality of Brasilia in the Distrito Federal, Brazil.

Moura, Fernandes, Santana, and Feio, 2010, Check List, 6: 173-175, discussed the distribution, provided additional localities, and a range map. Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 80–81, provided an account.
