Scinax tupinamba Silva and Alves-Silva, 2008, Zootaxa, 1914: 36. Holotype: MNRJ 53549, by original designation. Type locality: "from a bromeliad on the surface of a large, exposed, granite rock face at Fazenda Bom Jardim, Municipality of Mangaratiba, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (22° 54′ 45″ S, 44° 06′ 11″ W)", Brazil.

Distribution

Currently know only from the Municipality of Mangaratiba and from an island in the Municipality of Angra dos Reis, southwestern state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Comment

In the Scinax perpusillus group according to the original publication, in which the authors suggested that a number of populations in this species group may warrant being named.
