Distribution
Known only from the type locality (municipality of Una, RPPN Ararauna, State of Bahia, Brazil. 96 m elevation), although it is expected to be found more widely.

Comment
Forti, Foratto, Márquez, Pereira, and Toledo, 2018, PeerJ, 6(e4813): 1–19, characterized the advertisement call. Vörös, Dias, Bolaños, and Solé, 2022, Salamandra, 58: 71–75, described larval morphology from the type locality.
