Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 110. Lima, Lingnau, and Skuk, 2008, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 3: 118–121, described the advertisement call. Dubeux, Silva, Nascimento, Gonçalves, and Mott, 2019, Rev. Nordestina Zool., 12: 18–52, summarized the literature on larval morphology.
