Distribution
Known only from three Atlantic Forest fragments in Pernambuco, Brazil: (1) Dois Irmãos State Park (Parque Estadual Dois Irmãos), municipality of Recife; (2) the municipality of Paudalho, located 18 km northwest of the type locality; and (3) the Serra da Camaratuba mountain range, in the municipality of Bezerros.

Comment
The sister taxon of Ololygon skuki, within the Ololygon argyreornata group according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, advertisement call, molecular markers (16s mtDNA), and conservation concerns were detailed.
