"Litoria" castanea — Duellman, Marion, and Hedges, 2016, Zootaxa, 4104: 39. Incertae sedis within Pelodryadidae. Presumably will ultimately be placed into Ranoidea with other members of the former Litoria aurea group (personal comm. John Bird, 14 May 2016).

Distribution

Vicinity of the town of Guyra on the New England Tableland at elevations of 1000-1500 m, and ca. 500 km to the south another population on the Southern Tablelands between Canberra and Bombala at elevations of 800-800 m, New South Wales, Australia.
