Litoria quadrilineata Tyler and Parker, 1974, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 98: 71. Holotype: SAMA R13489, by original designation. Type locality: "Jalan Trikora [= Tridora Road], Merauke, Irian Jaya [now Papua], New Guinea", Indonesia.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (near Merauke, Papua, Indonesia [New Guinea]).

In the monotypic Litoria quadrilineata group of Tyler and Davies, 1978, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 27 (63): 40. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 122-123, provided a brief account and who included this species in his Litoria rubella group.
