Comment

Formerly confused with Litoria ewingii, but the sister taxon of Litoria calliscelis, according to the original publication where comparative morphology, advertisement call, and molecular markers (mtDNA only) were detailed. Elliott-Tate and Rowley, 2024, Aust. J. Zool., 72(ZO23026): 1–13, reported on variation in the advertisement call as part of a comparative study of the species in the Litoria ewingii complex.
