Comment

In the Litoria graminea complex according to the original publication and therefore; by implication, in the former Litoria chloris group of Menzies and Tyler, 2004, Aust. J. Zool., 52: 203. Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37–60, commented on the type specimens. Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 264–284, provided an account and suggested that the original study of Litoria dux rested on mixed samples of Litoria graminea (including the holotype) and Litoria sauroniOliver, Richards, and Donnellan, 2019, Zootaxa, 4609: 473, noted a genetic distance of 0.21 from Litoria graminea and morphological differences and resurrected the species from the synonymy of Litoria graminea, where it had been placed by Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 264.
