Litoria sauroni Richards and Oliver, 2006, Zootaxa, 1295: 46. Holotype: SAMA R60727, by original designation. Type locality: "Darai Plateau, Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea, (07° 07.771′ S, 143° 36.806′ E at 420 m asl)".

Ranoidea sauroni — Dubois and Frétey, 2016, Dumerilia, 6: 21. 

Nyctimystes sauroni  — Here (25 August 2018), based on the placement of this species in the "Litoria" gramineus complex according to Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 274.

Distribution

Known only from two localities in the Kikori Integrate Conservation and Development Project area (Dark End Lumber and the Darai Plateau), Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.
