Litoria myola Hoskin, 2007, Biol. J. Linn. Soc., 91: 552. Holotype: QM J82420, by original designation. Type locality: "Jumrum Ck. (16° 49.3′ S, 145° 38.3′ E), north-east Queensland, 330 m elevation", Australia.

Small area draining into the Barron River in the Kuranda area, northeastern Queensland, Australia.

Confused with Litoria genimaculata prior to its discovery, according to the original publication where comparative morphology and advertisement call were detailed.
