Hyla napaea Tyler, 1968, Zool. Verh., Leiden, 96: 145. Holotype: AMNH 49659, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 2830 ft at Camp 2, 3-4 miles south-west of Bernhard Camp, Idenburg River, Snow Mountains, New Guinea", Papua, Indonesia.

Common Names

Snow Mountains Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 60).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in the Snow Mountains, and from the Wapoga River catchments 300 km to the west, New Guinea, Papua, Indonesia.
