Comment
Donnellan, McGuigan, Knowles, Mahony, and Moritz, 1999, Aust. J. Zool., 47: 288–289, removed this taxon from the synonymy of Litoria phyllochroa. Mahony, Knowles, Foster, and Donnellan, 2001, Rec. Aust. Mus., 53: 40, suggested on the basis of molecular data that Litoria nudidigita is the sister taxon of Litoria phyllochroa. See brief account by Tyler and Knight, 2009, Field Guide Frogs Aust.: 58–59. Cutajar, Portway, Gillard, and Rowley, 2022, Tech. Rep. Aust. Mus. Online, 36: 29, provided a polygon distribution map (as Litoria nudidigitus). Cutajar and Rowley, 2022, J. Herpetol., 56: 318–323, provided dot- and polygon maps (as Litoria nudidigitus).
