Phyllomedusa cochranae Bokermann, 1966, Herpetologica, 22: 293. Holotype: WCAB 31184, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Campo de Fruticultura da Bocaina, Serra da Bocaina, São Jose do Barreiro, state of São Paulo, Brazil, collected at 1,600 m."
