Phasmahyla spectabilis Cruz, Feio, and Nascimento, 2008, Amphibia-Reptilia, 29: 312. Holotype: MNRJ 43078, by original designation. Type locality: "Fazenda Duas Barras (16°23′ S, 40°03′W, elevation 800 m), Municipality of Santa Maria do Salto, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil".
