Holotype: ZMB, number not stated in the original publication; ZMB 26911 is holotype according to Tillack, de Ruiter, and Rödel, 2021, Zoosyst. Evol., Berlin, 97: 439. Type locality: "Ganda Ali, Annia Galla", south of Bia Woraba in the Ennia Galla County, East Harerge Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia.
