Common Names

Schiøtz's Running Frog (Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 138).

Distribution

Ivory Coast and extreme southeastern Guinea; expected in northwestern Ghana, northeastern Liberia, southwestern Burkina Faso.

Comment

Confused with Kassina maculata and Kassina cochranae prior to its description. Channing, Rödel, and Channing, 2012, Tadpoles of Africa: 238, provided information on comparative larval morphology. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 138–139, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
