W.C.H. Peters: 45, apparently not lost as reported by Heyer, 1970, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 191: 16, who designated MCZ 373 as neotype. Type locality: "Ceara (Nördl. Brasilien)", northeastern Brazil; redundant neotype from "Rio Poti in Piauí", Brazil.
