Blommersia galani Vences, Köhler, Pabijan, and Glaw, 2010, Afr. J. Herpetol., 59: 143. Holotype: ZSM 453/2006, by original designation. Type locality: "Maromandia village, 16° 54.536′ S, 49° 52.068′ E, 20 m a.s.l., Nosy Boraha island (= Ile Sante Marie), eastern Madagascar".

Distribution

Known from Nosy Boraha and the adjacent mainland near Tampolo and Foulpointe, eastern Madagascar.

Comment

The sister taxon of Blommersia dejongi according to the original publication. Mezzasalma, Odierna, Brunelli, and Guarino, 2025, Genes, 16 (1464): 1–13, reported on the karyotype.
