Gephyromantis (Laurentomantis) marokoroko Hutter, Andriampenomanana, Andrianasolo, Cobb, Razafindraibe, Abraham, and Lambert, 2021, Zoosyst. Evol., Berlin, 97: 486. Holotype: KU 343230, by original designation. Type locality: "Vohidrazana Forest (18.976°S, 48.499°E; ca. 1150 m a.s.l.) in mid-altitude rainforest near Andasibe in Northern Central East Madagascar".

The Rugose Forest Frog (original publication). 


Known from several sites near Andasibe on the central rain-forest coast of Madagascar: Belakato in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Vohimana, Vohidrazana (type locality) and Tavalobe near Vohidrazana.
