Mantidactylus (Phylacomantis) moseri Glaw and Vences, 2002, J. Herpetol., 36: 373. Holotype: ZSM 935/2000, by original designation. Type locality: "Andasibe (18° 55′ 3″ S, 48° 25′ 22″ E; approximately 850 m above sea level", Madagascar.

Known reliably only from the type locality (Andasibe) and Betampona, northeastern Madagascar, ca. 350 to 900 m elevation.

Comment

Similar to Mantidactylus cornutus and in the Mantidactylus granulatus group according to the original publication. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 224-225, provided an account. Vences, Köhler, Scherz, Hutter, Maheritafika, Rafanoharana, Raherinjatovo, Rakotoarison, Andreone, Raselimanana, and Glaw, 2024, Spixiana, München, 46: 297–319, included this species in a revision of this and near-related species, providing molecular, acoustic, and comparative adult morphology.
