Distribution

Known reliably only from the type locality (Andasibe, northeastern Madagascar).

Comment

Similar to Mantidactylus cornutus and in the Mantidactylus granulatus group according to the original publication. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 224-225, provided an account.
