Leptobrachella baluensis Smith, 1931, Bull. Raffles Mus., 5: 12. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.25.32 (originally numbered 1929.12.22.61), according to museum records. Type locality: "Kamborangah, alt. 7,200 feet", Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo).

Distribution

Montane Sabah and Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo) and in adjacent northern Kalimantan, Indonesia, 750-1800 m elevation; expected in Brunei.

Natural Resident: Indonesia, Malaysia, Malaysia, East (Sarawak and/or Sabah)

Resurrected from the synonymy of Leptobrachella mjobergi by Dring, 1983, Amphibia-Reptilia, 4: 96, where it had been placed by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 49.
