Leptolalax botsfordi Rowley, Dau, and Nguyen, 2013, Zootaxa, 3737: 418. Holotype: VNMN 03682, by original designation. Type locality: "under leaf litter, 0.2 m from small trickle of water running through mossy rocks to a 1 m-wide cascading stream in upper montane forests on Mount Fansipan, Hoang Lien National Park, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam (22.3135° N, 103.7652° E, 2,815 m elevation; . . . )".

English Names

Botsford's Leaf-litter Frog (Nguyen, Tapley, Cutajar, Nguyen, Portway, Harding, Luong, and Rowley, 2020, Zootaxa, 4860: 293). 

Distribution

Known only from within 3.5 km of the type locality (Hoang Lien National Park, Fansipan, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam) at elevations of 2500 to 2815 m. 

Comment

 Nguyen, Tapley, Cutajar, Nguyen, Portway, Harding, Luong, and Rowley, 2020, Zootaxa, 4860: 293–300, described the tadpole and discussed the range and conservation status.
