Leptolalax croceus Rowley, Hoang, Le, Dau, and Cao, 2010, Zootaxa, 2660: 35. Holotype: AMS R 173740, by original designation. Type locality: "on a leaf at the edge of a 3 m wide, shallow, rocky stream in evergreen forest in Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve, Dak Glei District, Kon Tum Province, Vietnam (15.23587° N, 107.70982° E, 1316 m)".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve, Dak Glei District, Kon Tum Province, Vietnam), but likely to extend into adjacent Laos due to the proximity of the border.
