Leptobrachella itiokai Eto, Matsui, and Nishikawa, 2016, Raffles Bull. Zool., 64: 198. Holotype: KUHE 55895, by original designation. Type locality: "Sungai Tapin on Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo) (04°02’19”N, 114°55’04”E, 1,445 m asl)".

English Names

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, Sungai Tapin on Gunung Mulu, state of Sarawak, East Malaysia.

Comment

The sister taxon of Leptobrachella parva according to the original publication. Haas, Das, Hertwig, Bublies, and Schulz-Schaeffer, 2022, Guide to the Tadpoles of Borneo: 155–156, summarized the knowledge of habitat, reproduction, larval morphology and coloration.
