Distribution
Known from the type locality, near Wumulong Ganhe Protection Station of Daxueshan Nature Reserve in Yongde County, Lincang, Yunnan Province, China, found along small creeks or rocky streams inwell-preserved montane evergreen broadleaf forest at elevations between 2 569 and 2 601 m elevation; also reported from Mu Cang Chai Species and Habitat Conservation Area, Yen Bai Province, northern Vietnam.

Le, Do, Tran, and Nguyen, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28: 219–224, provided a record from Mu Cang Chai Species and Habitat Conservation Area, Yen Bai Province, northern Vietnam, and discussed the range.
