Distribution
Extreme western region of Sarawak (Kuching and Samarahan divisions), Malaysian Borneo, 52 to 455 m elevation; expected in adjacent Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Comment
Confused previously with Leptobrachella gracilis, according to the original publication, where comparative adult and larval morphology and advertisement call were detailed.
