Common Names
Arya Slender Armed Frog ( Sarmah, Garg, Tajo, Upadhyaya K., Hanken, and Biju, 2026, PeerJ, 14(e20397): 38).
Distribution
Goalpara, Kamrup, and Kamrup Metro districts of Assam; Nongkhyllum Wildlife Sanctuary and Nongpoh in Ri-Bhoi District, and East and West Garo districts of Meghalaya, India. 53 to over 100 m elevation.

Comment
Comparative acoustics, adult and larval morphology,16S mtDNA markers, and natural history detailed in the original publication, where the new species was suggested to be the sister taxon of Leptobracium sylheticum and Leptobracium smithi, and a dot map was provided. Sarmah, Garg, Tajo, Upadhyaya K., Hanken, and Biju, 2026, PeerJ, 14(e20397): 1–62, included this species in their Leptobrachium smithi group, described cranial osteology and adult morphology, reassigned some previous records of Leptobrachium smithi to this taxon and provided a dot map of the distribution.
