Common Names
Buchard’s Spadefoot Toad (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 32).
Distribution
Known only from the central Annamite range at 1000–1250 m elevation, Pakxong District, Boloven Highlands, Chapasak Province, Laos.

Natural Resident: Laos
Endemic: Laos
Comment
Stuart, Phimmachak, Seateun, and Sivongxay, 2012, Zootaxa, 3155: 30–33, provided new localities and additional descriptive notes. Stuart, Seateun, Sivongxay, and Phimmachak, 2025 "2024", in Wildlife Lao PDR: 25, summarized literature, taxonomy, habitat, and detailed range for Laos.
