Common Names
Tay Nguyen Spadefoot Toad (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 33).
Distribution
Central Highlands (= Kon Tum Plateau) of north-eastern Cambodia (Veunsai and Ta Veng Districts, Ratanakiri Province) and central Vietnam (Dak Glei and Kon Plong Districts, Kon Tum Province, and Mang Yang District, Gia Lai Province, and Tra My District, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam) 600 to 2105 m elevation; presumably to be found in adjacent Laos.

Natural Resident: Cambodia, Vietnam
Comment
The sister taxon of Leptobrachium mouhoti, and previously confused with that species and Leptobrachium pullum, according to the original publication.
