Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Tiwarigaon, near Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary, in the Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh state, India at elevations of ca. 1400 m).

Comment
Comparative adult and larval morphology, cranial osteology, advertisement call, and natural history detailed in the original publication, where this species was assigned to the Leptobrachium bompu group.
