Leptobrachium widianai Fauzan, Smith, Amarasinghe, Farajallah, Racho, Matsui, and Hamidy, 2026, Raffles Bull. Zool., 74: 72. Holotype: MZB Amph. 33320, by original designation. Type locality: "collected among leaf litter in intact primary lower montane forest along the trail to Banyuwana Amertha Waterfall, Wanagiri Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia (08°12′46.18″S, 115°07′20.02″E; 1,100 m a.s.l.)". Comment

Previous confused with Leptobrachium hasseltii from which this species differs in adult and larval morphology, advertisement call, and 16s mtDNA markers according to the original publication, where a dot map of the distribution was provided.
