Comment

In the Scutiger glandulatus group, most similar to Scutiger tuberculatus, according to the original publication. See Khatiwada, Shu, Subedi, Wang, Ohler, Cannatella, Xie, and Jiang, 2019, Asian Herpetol. Res., 10: 139–157, for comment on morphology. Hofmann, Jablonski, and Schmidt, 2024, ZooKeys, 1210: 240, included a paratype of Scutiger bhtanensis in their molecular tree of Scutiger and found it to be the sister taxon of Scutiger sikimmensis
