Scutiger feiliangi Zhou, Guan, and Shi, 2023, Chinese J. Zool., 58: 644. Holotype: SYAU BAA00004, by original designation. Type locality: Yuhuangding Forest Center in Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park, Song County, Luoyang City, Henan, China (33°38′37″ N, 111°50′01″ E, altitude 1882 m).

The sister taxon of Scutiger ninshanensis, with which it was previously confused, according to the original publication, where comparative adult and larval morphology and molecular markers were detailed.
