Distribution

Currently known from forested high-montane areas of the Kanjiroba Himal at elevations between ca. 3300 and 4400 m in west Nepal.

Comment

The sister taxon of Scutiger nepalensis according to the original publication, where molecular markers and comparative morphology were detailed.
