Choerophryne bryonopsis Kraus, 2013, Zoosyst. Evol., Berlin: 285. Holotype. BPBM 39991, by original designation. Type locality: "on southern ridge of Mt. Trafalgar, 9.1906° S, 149.1611° E, 1045 m elevation, Oro Province, Papua New Guinea".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality on the southern flank of Mount Trafalgar, Oro Province, Papua New Guinea, at 1045 m elevation.
