Mount Gigira Giant Nursery Frog (original publication). 

Distribution

Known with certainty only from Gigira (Hides) Ridge at the northern edge of the Kikori River basin in Hela Province, Papua New Guinea; It may also occur on nearby Mount Sisa and on Mount Elimbari about 270 km east of the type locality.
