Paedophryne titan Kraus, 2015, Occas. Pap. Mus. Zool. Univ. Michigan, 745: 2. Holotype: UMMZ 242417, by original designation. Type locality: "Domaruwa, slope S of Awaiara Bay, 10.0579º S, 151.0703º E, 556 m elevation, Normanby Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea".

Asterophrys titan — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 523, by implication.

Distribution

Known only from 500–550 m elevation at the type locality on the eastern side of Normanby Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
