Type locality: "from limestone karst forest, Kim Dien Commune, Quang Tri Province, Vietnam (17.820355°N, 105.881989°E; elevation ca. 250 m a.s.l.)". Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Kim Dien Commune, elevation ca. 250 m) in the limestone karst forests of Quang Tri Province, central Vietnam.

Comparative morphology and genetic marker (16s mtDNA) noted in the original publication. Poyarkov, Gorin, Le, Trofimets, Duong, Nguyen, Pawangkhanant, Suwannapoom, and Nguyen, 2026, Herpetozoa, Wien, 39: 147, provided a dot map of the species.
