Known only from the type locality (Sinh Long Commune, Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam, 1056 m elevation).

Comment

In a polytomy with Vietnamophryne orlovi and Vietnamophryne cuongi, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology and molecular markers were detailed. Poyarkov, Gorin, Le, Trofimets, Duong, Nguyen, Pawangkhanant, Suwannapoom, and Nguyen, 2026, Herpetozoa, Wien, 39: 147, provided a dot map of the species.
